The violence that unfolded Friday along the eastern Gaza border reached a level that we have not seen since financial aid from Qatar was transferred to Hamas two months ago. The source of the unrest was a delay of a $15 million dollar transfer from Qatar. The reason for the delay, according to some reports, the calm-for-calm agreement, a condition Israel stipulated in allowing funds to transfer into Gaza, was not adhered to by Hamas.
