The Actual Palestinian Virus? Abbas's Role Models - by Bassam Tawil

When Abbas describes terrorists as heroes, he is actually telling young Palestinians that those who plan and carry out terrorist attacks against Israelis should serve as role models. Abbas evidently wants all Palestinians to be like Abu Jihad and the terrorists in Israeli prisons. For Abbas and other Palestinian leaders, the glorification of terrorists seems to be more important than the fight against a deadly virus.

Bassam Tawil..

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has not been seen in public since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the region last month. His absence, however, has not stopped Abbas from doing what he does best: praising and glorifying Palestinians who kill Jews.

On April 16, Palestinians marked the anniversary of the assassination of Khalil al-Wazir (Abu Jihad), a PLO leader and co-founder of the Palestinian ruling faction Fatah, which is today headed by Abbas. Before Abu Jihad was assassinated by Israeli commandos at his home in Tunis in 1988, he had planned several terror attacks inside Israel against both civilian and military targets.

Last week, Abbas, who is supposed to be busy helping his people curb the spread of the coronavirus, found the time to publish a statement describing Abu Jihad as "one of the historic leaders" of the Palestinians who "played an important role during an "historic, difficult and dangerous phase."

Abbas, in his statement, went on to praise Abu Jihad for "representing a legacy and an example of sacrifice for the sake of a free and independent Palestine." Abu Jihad, he added, was an "inspiration to all the freedom fighters who sacrificed their blood for the fulfillment of the hopes and aspirations of their people for freedom and independence."

What exactly, as Abbas argues, is Abu Jihad's "legacy" and what made him an "inspiration to all freedom fighters"?

Actually, forget gas masks and ventilators - Hamas suffering from a shortage of martyrs - by Elder of Ziyon

Pity poor Hamas who needs to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find new "martyrs" to praise.

Elder of Ziyon..

The current pandemic has reduced the number of terror attacks and riots in Israel and the territories to nearly zero. In fact, today is "Land Day," a major event that is usually marked with mass anti-Israel rallies, and this year the Palestinians can do virtually nothing.

Hamas, which is built on a culture of glorifying death and "martyrs," has very little to talk about without physical attacks. So its top story on the Al Qassam Brigades website is about the "martyrdom" of someone who just died of injuries from a car accident four years ago.

The complete moral bankruptcy of a PLO state - by Rachel Avraham

The fact that the Palestinians revere terrorists as role models for young children makes the idea of promoting a PLO state morally reprehensible.

Now more than ever, it is clear to everyone that former Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Ebban was correct to state that "the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity." Instead of embracing US President Donald Trump's "deal of the century" as a starting point to begin negotiating for independent statehood, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas instead sought the passage of a UN Security Council resolution condemning the peace plan.

Although the UN Security Council resolution set to condemn the "deal of the century" was ultimately removed from the agenda, that was due to a lack of international support, not a change of heart in the Palestinian Authority. Abbas still addressed the UN Security Council in order to condemn the "deal of the century," which he rejected before he even had the chance to see it.

In fact, the Fatah Facebook page has been even more blatant in its rejection of the 'deal of the century,' resorting to threats, ad hominem insults, and foul language: "We'll redeem Palestine with blood. Over our dead bodies, we won't let it pass and if you want to overstep my limit, Trump, we'll blind you; and if you want war, we'll declare it and only Allah will be able to extinguish it. We'll drive your Israel crazy and turn it upside-down. Trump, gather up this deal quickly, fold it and roll it up, you idiot, put it in the center and shove it up your ass."

In such an environment, how can we even begin to contemplate the creation of a pro-terrorism Palestinian state? All the facts indicate that the Palestine Liberation Organization remains in a state of war with Israel and is not interested in living in peace beside Israel.

The Center for Near East Policy Research recently reported that Dalal Mughrabi, a female Palestinian terrorist who murdered 34 Israelis and injured 71 others, is systematically presented as a role model for children in Palestinian schools: "The terrorist Dalal Al Mughrabi stars in the Palestinian curriculum as a super-heroine, equal in status to Yasser Arafat and to the Prophet of Islam's wife Aisha." The fact that Palestinian female terrorist is presented as a role model for young children makes the idea of promoting a PLO state morally bankrupt.

Who would've thought? To Tlaib trip organizer, murderers are 'heroes' - by Moshe Phillips

...Shooting an American Jewish nature photographer in the head was a “military operation” and the shooter was a “hero.” That’s the group that Tlaib put in charge of her proposed trip to Israel. The House Ethics Committee should immediately investigate this sordid episode. It should insist that Tlaib explain the nature of her relationship with Miftah and the reasons behind her decision to embrace those who praise the murderer of a member of a US senator’s family.

On, March 11, 1978, Rubin was
photographing birds at the
Maagan

was approached by a group of men who
killed her and stole her car.
She was
the first of 33 people to die in the attack.

First, they praised the terrorist who murdered a US senator’s niece. Then they were chosen by Rep. Rashida Tlaib to organize her now-canceled trip to Israel.

Tlaib’s outrageous choice of the pro-terrorist group Miftah to run her trip is a slap in the face of the United States Congress and deserves to be investigated by the House Ethics Committee.

The fact that Tlaib chose Miftah to organizer her trip is no secret; it was widely reported by major news media. The problem is that nobody is explaining what Miftah really is. The New York Times, for example, reported only that Miftah is a group “that promotes ‘global awareness and knowledge of Palestinian realities.’”

Ironically, one the “Palestinian realities” of which Miftah reminds us is that the Palestinian Authority and its American supporters regard Palestinian Arab murderers of American citizens as heroes.

The official Miftah website features an essay by one of the group’s leaders, Johara Baker, profusely praising Dalal Mughrabi, the murderer of Gail Rubin, the niece of the late US Senator Abraham Ribicoff (D-Conn.).

Abbas’s soaring popularity alters Israel’s political landscape - by Joanthan S. Tobin

Israeli voters will keep rejecting peace plans as long as Palestinian keep cheering for terrorists and their paymasters.

It was a rough week for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He saw his main opponents join forces and the Blue and White Party that resulted from this merger surpassed Netanyahu’s Likud Party in the polls. If that wasn’t enough, Netanyahu’s decision to encourage one of his coalition partners to take in a party whose leaders are followers of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane set off a storm of criticism from Jews who felt he was wrong to help legitimize an extremist group.

But while Netanyahu has been taking it on the chin, the man that much of the world still imagines is Israel’s peace partner seems to have had a very good week. And the explanation for that unexpected development is the reason why Netanyahu’s prospects for holding on to his office are not quite as gloomy as his detractors may think.

Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas is currently serving the 15th year of the four-year term as president of the P.A., to which he was elected in January 2005. He is widely reviled by most of those whom he pretends to serve. The same is true for his steadfast refusal to negotiate peace with Israel. The kleptocracy over which the 83-year-old presides is a disgrace. He refuses to make peace with Israel, but is also dependent on security cooperation with the Jewish state.

But Abbas’s popularity is suddenly soaring. In the last year, both the United States and Israel have enacted measures to cut back on cash flowing to his regime in order to force him to end the practice of rewarding those who attack, wound and kill Israelis, Jews and Americans with salaries and pensions.

We have covered this sick picture before. The mothers of Palestinian terrorists who praise their children’s killing of Jews, often wishing they had killed more:

Now there is another example.

October 2015 was start of what commonly was referred to as the Knife or Stabbing Intifada. While there were many other forms of attack, the knifings — often carried out by teenagers — resulted in many attackers being shot dead after killing or wounding Israelis:

According to the Israel Security Agency, October 2015 saw the beginning of a wave of terrorism that has led to 620 attacks (483 in the form of firebombs) in one month, compared to 223 in September. Eleven people (one foreign national and 10 Israelis) were killed in terrorist attacks in October, and 80 were injured, 37 of them moderately or more severely (one foreign national, 18 Israeli civilians, and 18 members of the security forces).

I wrote about the Knife Intifada: “spasms of bloody and murderous irrationality”. The knifings were glorified on Palestinian social media.

In that report, I also noted other attacks, including this one at the Damascus Gate to the Old City in which an attacker was shot and killed. I didn’t know or report his name:

Priorities: Palestinian leaders - and their "progressive" fans - support their paying terrorists above education, infrastructure, hospitals.... - by Elder of Ziyon

...Any people who prioritize terrorists over taking care of their own larger population does not deserve to be rewarded with statehood. It seems obvious - but the world still supports the people who will imperil their own in order to support their murderers.

Elder of Ziyon..
18 February '19..

From TOI:

A spokesman for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas denounced Israel’s decision to cut half a billion shekels in funds over its payments to security prisoners and their families Sunday.

Nabil Abu Rudeineh called the decision to implement the law “piracy of the Palestinian people’s money.”

Abu Rudeineh said the move would not keep the Palestinians from supporting “imprisoned heroes” or the families of those killed while carrying out attacks.

Acting PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said Israel’s cutting of PA funds is “a part of a plan to destroy the National Authority and deny it the ability to continue to provide services and fulfill its commitments to its citizens.”

“Cutting the maqasa funds puts the Palestinian economy in danger and threatens our ability to pay employees’ salaries on time,” he added, using the Arabic term that refers to the taxes that Israel collects on behalf of the PA and then transfers back to Ramallah.

The Palestine National Council also released a statement saying that "Palestinian prisoners are prisoners of war who fought for the salvation from the occupation and live in dignity in their homeland" and that Palestinian institutions will continue to provide full care for the prisoners and families of martyrs and wounded."

Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah said "We will not be deterred from continuing to take care of the families of the prisoners and the martyrs, no matter what the cost, and that this measure will be met by a clear Palestinian position, official and public."

A Palestinian Terrorist Too Brutal for Fatah? No Go, Guys. You Own Arafat Irfaiya. - by Shoshana Bryen

Everyone is a soldier; every day is a battle. No exception for Arafat Ifaiya -- a product of his culture and his education and owned by the people who raised him.

Shoshana Bryen..

The Palestinian Authority (PA) finally found a terrorist act committed by a Palestinian against an Israeli from which it wishes to disassociate. The horrific rape and knife murder of 19-year-old Ori Ansbacher prompted Qadura Fares, head of the PA-affiliated Prisoner's Club to say, “From our perspective, this (rape) becomes a criminal case. We’re against the idea that anyone who commits a criminal act can then try to cloak themselves in the nationalist flag.”

A senior Fatah official said, “Even if there was no rape, a murder like this is unacceptable. The victim wasn’t a soldier, and this wasn’t wartime. If you want to be a hero, you don’t go and murder an innocent woman who went into the woods to read a book.”

No go, guys. In the world of the PA, everyone is a soldier and every day is wartime. You own this and you own Arafat Irfaiya.

Irfaiya is 27 years old, just about the same age as the Oslo Accords. In 2006, when Irfaiya was just a boy, the PA, aware that it could not field an army to go to war against Israel’s army, adopted a strategy of "popular resistance" (i.e., popular terrorism) at the 6th Fatah Conference. Seemingly unplanned low-tech attacks (car ramming or stabbing) against Israelis and Jews were described after the fact by Palestinian leadership as "heroic actions" and "the natural response to Israel's crimes."

In 2015, Mahmoud Abbas, PA strongman, instigated the “ramming and stabbing intifada” by calling on Palestinians to “defend” the al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.

“Al-Aksa is ours and so is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. [Jews] have no right to desecrate them with their filthy feet. We won’t allow them to do so and we will do whatever we can to defend Jerusalem. Each drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem is pure blood as long as it’s for the sake of Allah. Every shahid [martyr] will be in heaven and every wounded person will be rewarded, by Allah’s will.”

There are earthly rewards as well, codified in “Amended Palestinian Prisoners Law No. 19, which predates the 2015 violence. The law mandates free tuition, health insurance, and professional training for Palestinians released from Israeli jail. It talks about salaries “linked to a cost-of-living index.” In 2013, the law was amended to give released prisoners “priority in annual job placements in all State institutions.”

Although the Taylor Force Act cuts American money to the PA for such salaries, Hassan Abed Rabbo, PLO head of the Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs, disapproved, “It is the right of all of the prisoners and martyrs who have struggled and sacrificed for Palestine to receive their full salaries from the PA.” Palestinian prime minister, Rami Hamdallah, said inmates are “prisoners of war” and that “their cause is the cause of all of us.”

No exclusion for rape. No exclusion for Irfaiya.

Everyone is a soldier; every day is a battle.

A prince, a princess, four Tamimis - and murderous violence - by Arnold Roth

...A great shame that all those 'activists' agitating for 'Free Palestine', for BDS and for "Palestinian rights" don't direct their energies, criticisms and fury at the two ham-fisted Palestinian Arab regimes that bear almost all the responsibility for what's wrong with the lives of the people living under their boots. And for the extreme violence that many people think about when the word "Palestinian" enters the discussion.

Ahed Tamimi, a young Palestinian Arab woman from Nabi Saleh, a hamlet a few kilometers from our Jerusalem home has been busy traveling and speaking to attentive crowds these past few months.

Just before she started an eight month sentence in an Israeli prison a year ago, the result of a plea bargain her handlers made with the authorities, we noted here that she is

the young woman many call Shirley Temper, a photogenic performer who for at least eight years now has been the central figure in a long-running propaganda performance orchestrated by her father Bassem Tamimi and his publicity business, Tamimi Press.

Bassem Tamimi, Ahed's manager/father and long-time producer/director, asserted some months back that Israel was standing in the way of the post-prison globetrotting/meet-and-greets he had in mind for her.

Somehow overcoming the Israeli opposition (if indeed it existed), the young woman, frequently referred to via overblown noms-de-guerre "Palestine's Joan of Arc",  managed to pull-off a run of well-publicized visits to Spain, France, Tunisia, Greece and Jordan in September and October 2018. She also became the subject of a photo spread in the October 2018 Arabic version of Vogue magazine along the way.

She's been busy. And the drum-beating and orchestrating have paid dividends.

Jewish terror victim, Avraham Bromberg, is remembered, thanks to the killers’ friends - by Stephen M. Flatow

And so, in a bitter and ironic twist, American Jewish and Zionist leaders may have forgotten Avraham Bromberg, but the actions of his murderers and their cheerleaders have forced his name back into the news—and back into our too-short memories.

Stephen M. Flatow..
JNS.org..
13 February '19..

Like most victims of Palestinian Arab terrorism, Avraham Bromberg would have been completely forgotten—if not for the persistence of the murderer’s many admirers and financial sponsors.

Bromberg was just 20 years old when he was murdered. The same age as my daughter, Alisa, when she was murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists in 1995. Avraham was hitchhiking. In those days, all young Israelis hitchhiked. Nobody thought of it as a potentially lethal activity.

A car with Israeli license plates stopped to give him a ride. The driver and his front-seat passenger were Israeli Arabs. Avraham might have noticed that they were Arabs. But so what? After all, most Israeli Arabs aren’t terrorists. But these two were.

Karim Younes and his cousin, Maher Younes, kidnapped Avraham Bromberg, shot him in the head and threw him into a roadside ditch. Several days later, he died from his wounds. The Younes cousins were caught, convicted and sentenced to life in prison.

That would have been the end of the story, as far as the Jewish public is concerned. Some older Israelis might still remember his name. But the number of American Jews who remember Avraham Bromberg can be counted on one hand. And the number of American Jewish or Zionist organizations that have mentioned Bromberg’s name in one of their fire-and-brimstone press releases is zero.

In the wake of multiple murders, this violent Pal Arab village's economy just grew - by Arnold Roth

Kobar's economic basis was bleak as of 2011. Some 62.5% of its population were categorized as "not economically active". The village was reported to have an olive oil-press and two stone quarries, 14 grocery stores, one fruit and veg store, five "professional workshops", three service stores, and one shop for agricultural tools [source]. We have not yet found published data to show what share of daily life in this violent place is sustained by lifetime Pay-to-Slay stipends from the Palestinian Authority. Whatever it is, it grew larger today.

Providers of foreign aid to the always-insolvent Palestinian Authority - and the ordinary citizens who unwittingly contribute to the funding via their taxes - acquired yet another new beneficiary earlier today.

Assem Barghouti suspected of participating in the murder of 4 day old Amiad Ish-Ran and IDF soldiers Staff Sergeant Yuval Mor Yosef and Sergeant Yosef Cohen, and the injury of numerous others, was arrested this morning.According to Palestinian Authority law and regulations, since he was arrested by Israel for his "participation in the struggle against the occupation", Barghouti is entitled to a monthly salary from the PA of 6,000 shekels. According to PA law, his salary will increase over time to 12,000 shekels per month.Barghouti's starting salary is higher than most other terrorist prisoners, since he has already spent 11 years in prison for past involvement in terrorism. During his first term in prison, Barghouti received an estimated cumulative sum of 447,000 shekels. Additionally, according the PA law and regulations, upon his release, Barghouti was also entitled to a $6,000 one-time release grant and a guaranteed salary paid by the PA even if he did not work... The NY Times Incentivizes Hamas Violence - by Alan M. Dershowitz

...While Hamas is happy to boast openly about their fighters tearing at the border fences in Gaza and hiding behind civilians to evade Israeli soldiers—the New York Times makes no mention of this. Israeli soldiers are portrayed as faceless killing machines, without a single reference to the fire kites, terror tunnels, rockets or cross border explosive devices utilized by the Palestinians, or to the double war crime of Hamas targeting Israeli civilians by firing rockets from behind Palestinian civilians.

Alan M. Dershowitz..
Gatestone institute..
04 January '18..

In the Sunday New York Times — the most widely read issue of the week -- the lead story was about a young Israeli soldier whose bullet ricocheted off the ground and killed a young Palestinian medic who had admitted to being a human shield and who was videoed throwing a smoke bomb. The next day— in the less well-read Monday issue — the Times reported on the murder and torture committed at the hands Afghan troops affiliated with and trained by the American CIA. The piece opens with the troops shooting and burning an entire family including a three-year-old girl. The number of deaths associated with these units (who at times were mistaken for ISIS) could not be verified but accounts put them at hundreds in one month. Apparently, the Times's editors believe that the Israeli story, involving one soldier who shot one Palestinian under questionable circumstances, deserves wider coverage than deliberate massacres perpetrated by Afghan troops trained by the CIA.

The report's bias is clear from the introduction of the article and persists throughout the reporting. These reporters constantly characterized as "protesters," large groups of Palestinians that include violent Hamas fighters who carry weapons and maps of civilian targets. The Times's reporters portray the "protestors'" goals as "risking their lives to make a point" or "to break through the fence and return to their ancestral homes in what is now Israel." The goal of many of the Hamas fighters was, in actuality, to break through the fence and kidnap and kill Israeli civilians.

Palestinian Authority says accurate Israeli descriptions of how they honor terrorists are "incitement" - by Elder of Ziyon

...Accurately reporting on how Palestinians honor murderers is considered "incitement" by the Palestinian Authority. In a sense I suppose it is, because it causes Israelis to get angry at their "peace partners."

Elder of Ziyon..
02 January '18..

The official Palestinian Authority Wafa news agency has a weekly feature describing all of the cases of supposed Israeli media "incitement" that would cause Israelis to want to murder or attack Arabs.

Obviously they do this just to counter the very real incitement that they have daily in their media; if they can point to Israeli incitement they feel that they are blunting the message from Palestinian Media Watch and MEMRI and others. Even the most ridiculous pretense of incitement irs enough for them to be able to point to statistics that no one will challenge of "Israeli media had X number of articles this week inciting violence."

Here is the very first example from their report from last week.

Introducing the newest ‘heroes of the homeland’, Fatah ‘prays for the souls’ of murderers of Israeli baby - by Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Palestinian Authority ruling faction praises the murderer of a baby and shooter of seven Israelis, and Barkan shooter who murdered two, stating, “the heroic Martyrs [Shahids] of the homeland are sketching the map of the homeland with their pure blood, so that Palestine will live free and Arab. Eternity and glory to you.”

The four-day old Israel baby, who was delivered prematurely while his mother was in critical condition after being shot in a terror attack last week, died yesterday. Just prior to the funeral, the baby was given the name Amiad Yisrael, meaning “Israel our eternal nation.”

Two terrorists with blood on their hands were killed on Wednesday when Israeli forces tried to arrest them. One of the killers was Saleh Omar Saleh Barghouti, who shot seven Israelis standing at the bus stop, including the baby’s mother and father, Shira and Amichai Ish-Ran. The other was Ashraf Walid Suleiman Na’alwa, who in October shot and killed two of his Israeli coworkers at the Barkan Industrial Park where they all worked.

Hamas’s military wing, the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed responsibility for both attacks.

Fatah honors these two murderers as “heroes of the homeland” in several posts on Facebook. Fatah wished the murderers “eternity and glory,” praised their “pure blood” and “pure soul,” and described the “scent of musk of the martyr.” Abbas’s movement stressed the fact that these two murderers were “killed for their Lord and their land.”

Palestinian Authority Budget and Payments to Terrorists in 2018 - by Brig.-Gen. (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser

Dedicating around $335 million to arrested Palestinian terrorists and “martyrs,” which forms 7 percent of the overall annual budget for 2018, reflects the prominence the Palestinian Authority and its leadership give to incentivizing terror.

Brig.-Gen. (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser..

The detailed Palestinian Authority budget for 2018 that was published recently has new details about the allocations to arrested terrorists and the families of those who died or were wounded in the context of the “struggle against Zionism:”

The total PA budget is $5 billion. The amount that supports prisoners is $155.530 million, out of which $147 million are spent on transfers to the prisoners. These include salaries to 5,000 prisoners, paying Israeli fines for 1,200 prisoners, grants to 1,500 prisoners upon their discharge, grants for 1,200 unemployed released prisoners, delayed payments to 1,000 prisoners, salaries for 5,500 released prisoners, unspecified amounts to released prisoners who spent more than 10 years in jail, canteen expenditures for 6,000 prisoners, and clothing allocations for 5,000 prisoners.

The PA budget for supporting the families of “martyrs” and the wounded is $185 million. This sum is used to make sure that 24,000 families of “martyrs” and wounded who reside inside the “homeland” get a monthly allowance, 13,500 such families who reside outside the “homeland” get a monthly allowance, 375 families get special monetary assistance, 28,000 families get health insurance, and monthly allowances are paid to the victims of the 2014 conflict in Gaza. On top of all this, the budget is used to finance a variety of benefits to the family members (such as going on pilgrimages and exemptions from education tuition).

Additional, unspecified amounts are included in the budget of the PA security forces and are used for paying salaries to members of the security forces who are under arrest for carrying out terror attacks, and to the families of terrorists who died or were injured while they were members of the PA security forces.

How the Kingdom of Jordan's mainstream media showcase a couple of role-model jihadist murderers - by Arnold Roth

...Caravan is a weekly TV show on Jordan’s privately-owned Roya TV channel, evidently the most watched of Jordan’s TV channels. Caravan aims explicitly at a young audience and tries hard to seem hip in a vaguely Western way. In its October 23, 2018 edition, the show's attention was entirely given over to Ahlam and Nizar, a husband-and-wife team of convicted, unrepentant Palestinian Arab murderers. And as becomes painfully clear, a pair of well-loved Jordanian heroes.

Smiling faces, open admiration:

[This is the first part of a three-post look at the little-known and deeply troubling way the Kingdom of Jordan deals with a Hamas murderer/terrorist living unhindered and free in its midst. In the next two parts, we ask what this means in the context of current US efforts to see our daughter's killer extradited from there to face trial on US federal charges.]

Being the parents of a child murdered by a proud and pleased woman who doesn't stop boasting about what she did was never going to be easy to endure.

Regular readers know that Malki, our sweet, vivacious fifteen year-old eldest daughter was one of the victims of the Hamas bombing of the Jerusalem Sbarro pizzeria on August 9, 2001. The mastermind of the attack, convicted for her role in scoping out the target site and bringing the human bomb, was sentenced to 16 terms of life imprisonment. She was the first-ever Hamas female jihadist. Her name is Ahlam Tamimi.

Tamimi walked free, along with 1,026 other Arab terrorists - most of them killers - in the catastrophic deal Israel made with the Hamas terrorists to secure the freedom of an Israeli hostage, Gilad Shalit, in October 2011. She has been living free-as-a-bird in Jordan, not under cover, not in hiding, ever since.

She married another convicted Arab terrorist/murderer, Nizar Tamimi, in the summer of 2012. He is her cousin. Another cousin is Ahed Tamimi, the 17 year old blondish "icon" of Palestinian "resistance" recently released from an Israeli prison.

Are terrorists good at football? - by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

It doesn't matter to the PA - they are still the role models for Palestinian teens playing football!

Sports is considered a place where politics and conflict are put aside - but not in the Palestinian Authority. A football tournament for high school boys in Hebron, arranged by the local Fatah branch, named all 11 teams after terrorists - including terror leaders responsible for most of the deaths from terror Israel has suffered since its founding. Six were top Palestinian terror leaders and founders of terror organizations, while the other five were terrorists or members of terror organizations. The PA Ministry of Education endorsed the event's role modeling of terrorists with a representative who "honored the winning players and teams."

Here is the list of the teams in the President Martyr Yasser Arafat Football Championship:

Pittsburgh and Har Nof: Two massacres, and the contrast between two societies - by Stephen M. Flatow

One cannot help but note the difference between how American society and its leaders responded to the Pittsburgh massacre, and how Palestinian society and its leaders responded to the Har Nof massacre.

For friends of Israel, the scenes from Pittsburgh were all too familiar. Terrorist attacks on Israeli synagogues, yeshivahs, Passover seders and other religious sites and events have been a tragically frequent feature of the Arab war against the Jewish state.

This month marks the fourth anniversary of one of the most notorious attacks in Israel in the past few years. On Nov. 18, 2014, Palestinian terrorists burst into the Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood, and shot or axed to death five rabbis (four of them American citizens) at prayer, in addition to an Israeli Druze policeman.

One cannot help but note the striking difference between how American society and its leaders responded to the Pittsburgh massacre, and how Palestinian Arab society and its leaders responded to the Har Nof massacre.

Even Vogue Can’t Glamourize Terror- by Pesach Benson

..."People ask me what life was like in prison, but I wish I didn’t have to talk about it. I just want to forget." No she doesn’t. Prison is Tamimi’s stepping stone to all the trappings that come with being an icon: meeting world leaders, photo-ops with Real Madrid, billboards in London, etc. She has indicated she wants to study law and pursue political activism, so Tamimi’s fame will open doors for her. Prison is Tamimi’s meal ticket. But none of Vogue’s photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists and show-biz production can whitewash who Ahed Tamimi really is — an opportunistic and attention-grabbing young woman who isn’t really interested in peace.

When talking about photo bias, we’re usually dealing with breaking news images that are lacking context, misleadingly framed, cynically staged, spuriously cropped, carelessly recycled or dubiously photoshopped. Sometimes, editors make boneheaded decisions on how to illustrate a story.

We’ve also seen muddled photo essays resulting from computer glitches and even did a case study on a series of wire photos of a border clash that raised glaring questions of who the photographers were and how they got shots of the action so close-up and quick.

Which is brings us to Vogue, a monthly magazine best known for glamour shots of beautiful people wearing beautiful clothes in beautiful settings because its star photographers know how to create beautiful images of their subjects. Vogue’s Mideast edition, Vogue Arabia published a letter by Ahed Tamimi, who recently finished a term in prison for slapping an Israeli soldier. In front of cameras. Think about that.

She was trying to provoke a reaction as her mother filmed the incident.

Vogue Arabia sent one of its photographers to shoot a glamourous photo of the 17-year-old. She looks awfully nice for a girl just out of prison. I’m going to talk about how “the sausage” of the photo was made and then I’ll talk about its effect.

PA pretends to comply with Belgium donor demand, names two more schools after terrorist murderer - by Itamar Marcus/Nan Jacques Zilberdik

The Belgian government apparently also passed on PMW's report and Belgium's "unequivocal condemnation" to the PA, because within two weeks, the PA suddenly changed the name to "The Belgian School - Tala'ei Al-Janoub" claiming it was done "as a sign of honor to the government of Belgium that built it," according to the official PA daily. [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 27, 2018] However, the PA leaders, who for years have refused donor demands to stop terror glorification, decided that since they were being coerced by the Belgian government, they would mock Belgium instead.

The Palestinian Authority continues to defy and mock its donors. Although donors have repeatedly condemned the PA's policy of naming schools and community centers after terrorists and murderers and have refused to fund them, the PA continues to name schools after terrorists. Occasionally the PA pretends to comply with donor demands to stop terror glorification. This is one of those cases.

This is how the PA deceives Europe and keeps the funding flowing:
