When you are a reader of Machsom Watch it's possible to walk away with a somewhat distorted view of reality. This poor boys' friend was sentenced to 17 months for throwing stones and incendiary material at Road 60. Come on, boys will be boys.

Also tried before the same judge was Issa Halil Falach Fayik. He was 15 and a half when he threw stones and `incendiary material` at Road 60.He has been under arrest for six months together with three of his friends. Attorney Mahmoud Shahin hoped to conclude the trial on the same day, but one of Issa`s friends agreed to a plea bargain in which he would receive a 17-month sentence. The attorney preferred not to conclude the trial that day, and to try and reach a more mitigating arrangement with the prosecution.
The trial will continue next month.

On the other hand.......
Travel to Palestinian-controlled areas restricted after firebombings
Israel has ordered its citizens and foreign tourists to stay out of Palestinian-controlled areas in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, hours after an Israeli toddler was critically burned by a firebomb hurled at the car in which she was riding in the West Bank town of Jericho.
Which part of this is not obvious to Machsom Watch?
