(HPM) HP Bias in Pictures - Part 9

In the ongoing war of the HP versus the settlements, the latest offensive was launched:



The article is, as the headline says, about how the settler population has reached its highest point under Netanyahu. So what's the deal with the picture? The caption for it reads:

"Palestinian protesters run away from tear gas fired by Israeli troops during a protest against the expansion of the nearby Jewish settlement of Halamish, in the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh, near Ramallah, Friday, June, 8, 2012."

It's a little closer to the topic than most HP pictures (since the Palestinians are protesting settlements) but it's still extremely biased. Rather than choosing a picture of a settler family smiling or even just some houses in Ariel, the HP chooses a picture of violence. Because it's got an agenda to push, and that is all settlers are violent and evil.

If you don't think this is biased, imagine if the HP published an article about the Palestinian Authority refusing to negotiate and accompanying it with a blown up bus.
