Islamic Human Rights Commission Al Quds 2020 – terrorists, extremists, antisemites and violence - by David Collier

How can the government justify giving them an audience of 10,000s? Given the evidence of extremism and support for terrorism – we can clearly demand that this toxic group are not allowed to walk through London’s streets any more.

The IHRC Al Quds Day 2020 was like no other. If you doubt that the BDS movement supports violence, seeks to destroy Israel and wants to rid the Middle East of Jews, then you should sit through the whole toxic 150 minutes of this online event like I did.

Each year, the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) are given permission to hold a radical Islamist event calling for the destruction of Israel as they wave their flags through the streets of London. They play a game in which they wave their extremism in our faces and laugh at the foolishness of those that permit them to recruit on our streets.

It is a pro-Hezbollah, radical Islamist event, that until the terrorist organisation was proscribed in the UK, would regularly see the flag of Hezbollah proudly on display.

Al Quds 2020 was different because it was online. There were no police to monitor their words. Instead the IHRC were allowed to invite whomever they liked and freely speak their mind. Before any British Government official ever gives these terrorist supporters another chance to walk through London – they should be forced to watch this event.

IHRC 2020 – Not just the usual suspects

Because of the importance of some of the content, I am not going to write up every speaker – but rather focus on those I believe need special attention. However, given some of what occurred it is important to remember the names of all those who participated.

Britain 2017 - Marching with (and stopping!) terrorist supporters in London - by David Collier

...The 18th June was Fathers day in the UK. Seeing the Hezbollah flag waved in London was a direct insult to all the absent fathers that were ripped from their families through Islamic terrorism. How sickening, that on a day that would know mourning in hundreds of households in the UK, Hezbollah should be honoured in the UK capital. The politicians had left it so the victims of terror were not remembered on the streets of London, their killers were. How fortunate that some people took to the streets to remind everyone of the truth.

It is 3pm on June 18th 2017. I am in disguise, wearing a keffiyeh that is necessary to cover my face. I want to infiltrate the Al Quds Day march and the only way I can participate is to remain unrecognised. I stand next to the terrorist flag of Hezbollah. The stewards are on the lookout for people like me, and although I am quickly questioned, their suspicions do not allow them to remove the keffiyeh. They could not know who was behind the mask. I stare them down. I remain unidentified and I am in.

Fifteen days ago, just three miles from where I stand, eight people were killed and 48 were injured in a radical Islamic terror attack. In Manchester just a few weeks before, an Islamic terrorist attacked an Ariana Grande concert, deliberately targeting British children. Twenty-two people died in that attack. A few weeks before this, five were killed when an Islamic terrorist attacked people in Westminster. That attack was less than two miles from where I stand. Today, I will walk down Oxford Street with hundreds of people, all marching in support of a radical Islamic terror group. Proudly waving the flag of the Hezbollah. Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

Al Quds day is an Islamic invention, that was introduced into the calendar by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979 in ‘opposition to the existence of Israel’. The London branch of the Islamic hate festival is organised by the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC). Every year flags in support of Hezbollah are flown. This year the IHRC have even encouraged people to bring them.

‘Al Quds’ Day - Walking with the Hezbollah in London

...And as we came around the corner and I began to see that sea of Blue and White in front of me, it is difficult to describe the feeling. Not unlike the sight of land as you approach Ben Gurion on a flight to Israel. I could see my family and my friends. I was home.

3rd July 2016. It’s ‘Al Quds’ day. An annual event held on the last Friday of Ramadan. Yet another of the ever increasing number of days where an excuse is found to march against Israel. This particular day was introduced by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979. With Hezbollah symbolism ever present in these ‘Al Quds’ marches, that flavour is never far from sight.

I arrived with my family at Oxford Circus Station. Holding their Israeli flags, they continued on their way towards the counter demonstration to be held near the US embassy. Unlike previous years, grassroots groups such as Sussex Friends of Israel and the Israel Advocacy Movement, had vowed the Zionists would not leave the streets to the extremists.

I was envious. However, I had other things planned for myself. I reached the corner of BBC Broadcasting House in Portland Place, placed a scarf with Palestinian colours around my neck, pulled the hood of the jacket over my head as a disguise and entered the opposition camp.

Upon arriving I was handed a flag calling for the boycott of Israel, and slowly the crowd swelled. A coach arrived, then another. The antizionist Neturei Karta were placed at the front of the demonstration. They were kept that way. A line of protecting stewards were placed behind them and if anyone else tried to nudge to the front during the march, they were pulled away. Jews had to be on the front line, however unrepresentative they may be.

Hezbollah T-shirts, Nasrallah T-shirts, Khomeini T-shirts. These people marched proudly through the streets of London. Someone had a placard that read ‘ We are all Hezbollah’. And I marched with them. Support for radical Islamic extremists. Maybe 350 people in total, maybe slightly more. The demographic was clearly one sided. Over 80% of them looked Middle Eastern themselves. Arabic was the language most spoken.

I was not in this alone. There were two others, acting out as reporters from an international news agency. One of them was swiftly identified and removed from the crowd. The other tried to mingle, eventually talking to someone wearing a Nasrallah T-Shirt who began to glorify terrorists.

"Al Quds Day" Berlin Quote of the day

Petra Marquadt-Bigman..
The Warped Mirror..
25 August '12..

“Since 1979, the Islamic Republic of Iran has designated the last Friday of Ramadan “Al-Quds Day,” leading worldwide protests calling for the destruction of Israel. In that spirit, over 1,000 protesters […] marched through downtown Berlin on Saturday denouncing Israel and praising Hezbollah, Iran’s proxy army in Lebanon.

Unlike the neo-Nazis rocking out to “white power” music in a secluded cornfield [during a NPD event at a remote location a week earlier], the Islamists calling for the destruction of the Jewish state in the heart of the German capital did not stir the consciences of the country’s major political parties. As opposed to the 2,000 people who trekked out to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern [to protest the NPD event], only 300 or so anti-Islamist protesters, the majority of them affiliated with Jewish organizations, held a separate counter-demonstration, where the only political figure to speak was a former member of the German Bundestag.

This Year's Qods Day In Iran:..

Israel's Elimination Is Imminent – And More Possible Than Ever Before..

..Source: Fars (Iran), August 15, 2012..

Special Dispatch No.4893..
17 August '12..

As it does every year, the Iranian regime is marking Qods (Jerusalem) Day,[1] calling for the elimination of Israel. Ramazan Sharif, public relations director for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and head of the Headquarters for the Intifada and Jerusalem, announced that this year Tehran will hold Qods Day in 70 countries around the world.[2]

Under the pressure of increasing regional isolation and as a result of the nuclear crisis, the Iranian regime, headed by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, is attempting to draw attention away from itself by calling on Muslims to unite against Israel to bring about its destruction. As Iranian Culture Minister Mohammad Hosseini said, "The oppressing Zionists must know that the Muslim ummah, and the Iranian people in particular, will always support the rights of the Palestinian nation, and will continue to do so until the Zionist regime is completely annihilated."[3]

As part of this propaganda campaign, the regime invited the public to participate en masse in Qods Day marches across Iran, and clarified that this year, the holiday's focus would be on support for the regime of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. Accordingly, regime supporter Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani warned that "participation in a Qods Day march is concrete evidence of support for Syria and defense of Jerusalem."[4] Likewise, Majlis member Sharif Hosseini said: "Today, Syria is another Palestine, and the Iranian people must stand beside it this year, as a focus of the marches."[5] Majlis National Security Committee chairman Ala Al-Din Boroujerdi stated, "With God's help, the [West's and Israel's] plot [against Syria] will boomerang on the Zionist regime, and there is no doubt that this illegitimate regime will be destroyed."[6]

This report will review the main statements on the issue by regime officials and regime organs:

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei: Israel Will Be Destroyed; We Will Triumph Over The U.S.

In a pre-Qods Day speech on August 15, 2012, to veterans of the Iran-Iraq War, Khamenei stated that Israel was the source of the Middle East's problems. He then called on the Muslims to abandon their sectarian disputes, which he explained were the fruit of plots by Israel and the West aimed at perpetuating the occupation of Palestine. Portraying the Arab world's calls to Iran to refrain from interfering in the Palestinian issue as a betrayal of the Palestinians, he exhorted all Muslims to rally to the aid of the Palestinians as a religious duty. He also said that he anticipated the restoration of Palestine to its rightful owners, the Palestinians, and added that Iran would triumph over the U.S. in the nuclear issue. The following are the main points of his statements:

Just Your Everyday "Rally for Justice in Palestine and the Oppressed Everywhere" (Except In Israel)

Daled Amos

The time has come that we must stir up our 'religious leaders' in this country to speak the truth about Israel. They must put their hands on the Quran and say that they do not recognize Israel as a legitimate entity. If they cannot do that, they must be branded as kaffirs [infidels]. It's as simple as that. Because the Quran says – drive them out from where they drove you out.
Kaukab Siddiqi

Here is the video--from the "Annual Al-Quds Day Rally for Justice in Palestine and the Oppressed Everywhere." The video automatically starts with Siddiqi:

When you have an associate professor of English haranguing a crowd about the Koran, you know it's not because of his knowledge of the Islam or Koran, but because he'll say anything to stir up a crowd.

Jew-baiting at the Western Wall – an historical vignette

Daphne Anson
05 September '10

Yesterday was marked around the world – by Muslims and anti-Zionists of various stripes carrying pro-Hamas and pro-Hezbollah placards – as Al-Quds Day, dedicated to liberating Jerusalem from the Israelis – or, as the Iranian satellite news channel Press TV put it last night, demanding an end to “Israel’s 62-year [sic] occupation of Palestine” . The Al Quds Day march in Britain has been described, with good reason, as “the biggest annual Israel hatefest in London” – at yesterday’s ‘"We Are All Hizbolla Now" and "Zionism Equals Racism" were just two of the racist chants. Resistance was provided by a small group of Zionists, a group of Iranian expatriates in London and a group from the EDL. Around 1200 marchers walked from Speakers Corner down Hyde Park Lane, then back up, turning right to congregate in front of the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square (the "Great Satan").”’ For a description and links to other accounts and videos see http://www.thejc.com/blogpost/terrorist-supporters-march-freely-through-london

Al-Quds Day was inaugurated by the late Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, the year he took power in Iran. “I ask all the Muslims of the world and the Muslim governments to join together to sever the hand of this [Israeli] usurper and its supporters,” he declared. “I call on all the Muslims of the world to select as Al-Quds Day the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan ... and through a ceremony demonstrating the solidarity of Muslims world-wide, announce their support for the legitimate rights of the Muslim people. I ask God Almighty for the victory of the Muslims over the infidels.” On the eve of this year’s Al-Quds Day Ayatollah Khamenei stated: "Israel is a hideous entity In the Middle East which will undoubtedly be annihilated." And yesterday, in Teheran, President Ahmadinejad proclaimed: "If the leaders of the region do not have the guts, then the people of the region are capable of removing the Zionist regime from the world scene" and pronounced the peace talks between Binyamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas as "stillborn and doomed."
