The most recent terrorist attack in Jerusalem took the life of young Border Policewoman Hadas Malka, who was stabbed by a Palestinian jihadi.

Her stabbing, like the murder of Hadar Cohen before her, raises suspicions that these lowest of the low are specifically targeting female soldiers. Every time a Palestinian terrorist grabs a machine gun or a knife and kills a Jew, the murderer is dubbed a "dog" or a "lone wolf," as if he acted without instruction. Nothing could be more insulting to the animal world, and nothing is more false than the claim that the three murderers set out to commit a multiple-casualty attack last Friday without being guided by anyone.

The latest attack, which coincided with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, in honor of which the Jerusalem Municipality had made an unprecedented investment in holiday lights and cultural and sports events, was executed in the spirit of the Muslim Brotherhood's slogan: "Allah is our goal, the Prophet [Muhammad] is our leader, the Quran is our constitution, jihad is our way and death for Allah is our most exalted wish." This is the command hierarchy the killers follow.

Let us be clear: Terrorist attacks by individuals have a method and intent. This is an Islamic religious belief that is used as a political and operative tool that both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas use to fight Israel. Both these organizations, which perpetuate martyrdom, fund terrorism and incite the masses to carry out attacks as an act of "legitimate resistance to the occupation," reject the legitimacy of Israel's existence and sovereignty over Jerusalem. So they encourage serial murder through messages of religious incitement, the magic words of an evil sorcerer. As a result, a collection of glassy-eyed automatons head out to commit murder.


The purpose of the incitement and the attacks is to create chaos in Jerusalem and prompt Israel to overreact in an attempt to delegitimize Israel and its sovereignty over Jerusalem in the eyes of the world, and ensure that it remains religiously alienated from the Arab states. But on the other hand, there are growing signs that Islamist Palestinian terrorism has been dealt a fatal blow. The artificial Islamic "nation" that, in a fever of terrorism and incitement was supposed to reconquer the world, plunder its riches, and force it to convert to Islam, is crumbling and reverting back into the murderous tribes of origin it comprised in the sixth century. The millions of dead, raped and displaced victims put the Palestinian refugee narrative to shame.

The Muslim Brotherhood propagandists and their terror satellites are watching their dream of seeing Islam restored to greatness collapse before their eyes, and the lower the price of oil, the quicker the Arabs retreat to their desert tents and their intramural robbing and killing sprees. Unfortunately, fighting the cancer of Islam exacts a bloody price from the West, which is now realizing that Islamic terrorism is the only start-up the Arabs, Muslims, and Palestinians have ever contributed to the world.

In an atmosphere of mosques and churches being blown up and Christians and other minorities in Arab countries being murdered en masse, a hadith (quote) attributed to Muhammad about Ramadan takes on a grotesque context: "It [Ramadan] is the month whose beginning is mercy, its middle forgiveness, and its end emancipation from the fire." The month in which the Muslims, "through God's grace," defeated their enemies in major battles (such as the Battle of Hattin in 1187, or, they claim, the 1973 Yom Kippur War) holds no mercy or forgiveness; it is replete with blood. Ramadan, which was intended as a month of identification with the poor and the hungry and as a month of repentance for transgressions, is exploited for incitement, murder, and the sanctification of death.

As in the past, the homes of these inciters and murderers will also be demolished, and Israel will put the killers into the "martyrs' gallery" they long for. The poet Nathan Alterman's words to his daughter reflect the difference between the love of life and the Islamic death wish: "Watch over your soul, watch over your strength, watch over your soul, watch over your life, your wisdom, watch over your life -- watch out for falling walls, for roofs on fire, for darkness, for slingstones, for knives, for fingernails, watch over your soul, watch out for what burns, for what cuts ..."
