I apologize in advance that this is only going to be presented in Hebrew, because it's priceless. I will try to explain it as much as possible, but if anyone from Manhigut is reading this (you know you are), please try to subtitle the videos for readers abroad.
As many of you know, the Likud is having internal elections at the end of the month and Moshe Feiglin is running against Binyamin Netanyahu. What I'm about to show you is an advertisement for the campaign kickoff event tomorrow night (which I cannot make) and what you're about to hear is a Feiglin commercial. The commercial is based upon an ad that has been flooding the radio here for months (if not several years) in which someone calls for an insurance quote and gets a number that is well above the quote they got from a direct (without an agent) insurance company.
In the commercial, which was played Monday morning on Army Radio and drew compliments from Leftist broadcaster (okay, I probably don't have to say Leftist when it comes to Army Radio - they all are) Razi Barkai, someone asks about getting Supreme Court justices who represent the public, and gets asked if they will settle for having current Supreme Court Chief Justice Dorit Beinish replaced by one of the other justices. They say no, and then get told that if they really want Supreme Court Justices who represent the public will, they will have to vote for Feiglin (you will recall that Prime Minister Netanyahu tried to defend the current judicial selection process).

One Choice: Fight to Win
Unfortunately Ken Besig's comment is the typical response of the Netanyahu "Yes man"; attack Feiglin by calling him names and say that no one listens to him anyway. Well Ken if no one listens to him anyway then you have nothing to worry about. Clearly there are quite a number of people listening to him and taking him seriously or you would not have bothered to post your comment trying to cut him down. Wake up and smell the coffee, change is coming. If you really think that Bibi Netanyahu will solve Israel's problems and restore Israel's honor and respect then you may soon find yourself supporting Bibi for head of Kadima.
ReplyDeleteFeiglin's antics remind me of Charlie Brown in an old Peanuts cartoon. The one where Lucy complains to Charlie Brown that he seems to like to lose on the baseball field but that she needs to win sometimes. That's how I see Feglin, he seems to like losing, somehow believing that fighting and losing are okay if the fight is what he thinks is right. The rest of us prefer to fight and win.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Man... I Really hope Moshe defeats Bibi at the end of the Month!!!! GO MOSHE!!!!!
