Without question, our roots are stronger than the lie

...Our ancient roots in this land are inconceivably deeper than any of these groups' mendacious propaganda. We need to work wisely, with patience and determination, and just as we succeeded on the battlefield, we can win the battle for hearts and minds.

For years now the U.N. has been used as a platform to question the Jews right to their state. The Palestinian Return Centre is one of a string of terrorism abettors whose goal is to annihilate Israel, which is what is meant by "return," flooding Israel with millions of Arabs.

The hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who fled Israel in 1948 had not been here from time immemorial. Most of them arrived in the 19th century with Egyptian ruler Ibrahim Pasha, and later with the waves of Jewish aliyah and the launch of the British Mandate. Just look at how the U.N. defines Palestinian refugees (which, incidentally, is different than refugees anywhere else in the world): Anyone who was in Palestine two years before the State of Israel was established.

The PRC has strong ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. The Europeans and the U.N. know it. Beside the old and new anti-Semitism ("just" anti-Israelism), the false premise has existed for years that if the West sacrifices the Jewish state, it will be spared the sword of Islam. And now the PRC has been selected to advise the U.N. birds of a feather.

Leibler - Putting Hamas On Notice

Isi Leibler..
Candidly Speaking From Jerusalem..
13 March '12..

Last Friday, the IDF struck out against the Iranian controlled Popular Resistance Committees which our intelligence discovered were orchestrating another attack on the Egyptian border. Zuhair al Qaisi, the Secretary-General of the PRC (who had orchestrated the previous terror attack a few months on the Egyptian border near Eilat) and his collaborator Mahmoud Hanani, recently released in the course of the Schalit exchange, were both killed.

Gaza terror groups immediately responded and in the space of a few days over 200 rockets were launched against the South, one grad missile reaching as far as Gedera, only 40 kilometers from Tel-Aviv. Scores of Israelis throughout the South were injured. One rocket In Beer Sheva landed in an empty school courtyard, narrowly missing an apartment building. Subsequent Israeli responses destroyed numerous rocket launching cells and killed scores of terrorists.

We can take pride in the fact that our Iron Dome interceptor missiles have been extraordinarily successful and intercepted 90% of missiles directed towards the major cities. But even setting aside the immense cost of $50,000 for each intercept, at this stage Iron Dome is still far from foolproof and it only takes one missile to penetrate and cause tragic civilian casualties.

But besides that, it is outrageous to enable the terrorists from Gaza, at their discretion, to have the ability to force over a million inhabitants in the South in major cities like Beer Sheva, Ashkelon , Ashdod, and other regional councils from constantly to become hostages to their whim and obliged to disrupt their lives, effectively living for days on end underground and closing schools involving over 250,000 children.

There is no disputing that overcoming the existential threat of a nuclear Iran must remain our primary objective. And, yes, we also have sensitive issues which must concern us in relation to our Egyptian neighbors.

But it will be unconscionable for our government to enable these considerations to inhibit adequate responses to missiles being launched against its citizens. It must be willing to take drastic action to deter even a single rocket being deliberately launched. Otherwise we doom ourselves to a new war of attrition and destroy the quality of life of increasing numbers of our citizens.

Fresnozionism - US State Department “regrets” PRC losses

Fresnozionism.org..
10 March '12..

As you know by now, over 135 rockets were launched at Israel over the weekend. The barrage was in response to the targeted killing of Zuhair Mussah Ahmad Qaisi and two other Popular Resistance Committee (PRC) terrorists. The PRC, which was responsible for the recent attack near the Egyptian border, was about to launch a “large scale” attack into Israel. A total of at least 15 more fighters were killed when Israel attacked rocket launching teams in Gaza. The PRC is one of the most vicious of the terrorist militias (see the link at the end of the post).

There are no reports of Israeli deaths, although about a million Israelis spent the night in shelters. Schools will be closed today (Sunday). The Gaza air strikes were targeted precisely and no Palestinians were killed who were not terrorists.

That did not stop the US State Department from issuing a statement including a remark that they “regret the loss of life.”

Considering what the PRC has done in the past, this is a somewhat strange thing to say!
