We have the following gem from our friends over at CPT Palestine, AKA Christian Peacemakers Teams. Their objectivity is certainly never called into question, at least not by anyone who has at least the smallest desire to defame or to call into question the right of the IDF to defend men, women and children, trying to go about their daily lives with a modicum of safety.
The following piece from CPT, is a classic, minus only the obviously minor details as to what CPT's friends, supporters and protectees were busy with at the time.
Clashes erupt in Hebron

Clashes erupted in Hebron today around 2:00 pm between the Israeli security forces and the Palestinians on the border of H1 and H2 and last until about 7:00 pm.
The Israeli military dispersed the crowds with tear gas, stun grenades, rubber bullets and in some places, there were empty rounds of live ammunition laying on the ground.
Ambulances were shuttled in and out of the H2 area of Hebron, an area out of the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority. A causality count was not available at the time of publication.
The violent nature of the Israeli military crowd control measures have the potential to cause Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
With sound grenades causing loud noises, coupled with the aggressive nature of the chemical burns of the tear gas, this can cause crowds of people running down the streets and people get trampled upon, resulting in severe injuries.
Rubber bullets, although categorized as non-lethal, still has a record of causing death, as people have sustained life ending injuries to the head.

On the other hand it does seem that things were a bit more dicey then one may glean from the CPT account above. Beginning at about 1:35 one can get a far clearer picture of the day's events.

All in all, the IDF really did have its hands full, but not exactly as CPT would like one to think. But then again, thinking is not exactly what's being promoted .

Simply would not be tolerated in the UK.
