The UK's former ambassador to the UN, Sir Jeremy Greenstock (who not so long ago depicted Hamas in an apologetic light) has been saying harsh things about Israel in the lead-up to the Palestinian statehood vote, but the USA's former ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, sees things rather differently:
