UN Watch's Hillel Neuer addresses the UN Human Rights Council to decry its special agenda item and debate on Israel, at a time when the surrounding Middle East is aflame with massacres and rights abuses. Geneva, June 14, 2011.

Click Here to TAKE ACTION:  Urge the US to vote NO tomorrow and fight the UN's renewal of the anti-Israel agenda item by proposing one on Syria instead.

Mr. Neuer deserves much credit for being willing to sit in the same room and address a gathering of deaf and dumb anti-semitic bigots.

Surely Mr Neurer, more than anyone, is aware that those in the room could not care less about the content of his remarks regarding their totally hypocritical and transparent motives in heaping never ending approbation on the tiny State of Israel.

Indeed, listening to the introductory comments of various speakers before Mr Neuer spoke, one was forced to hear such vile and despicable lies and levels of clear hatred for Israel, that it was enough to give one the feeling he must reach for the type of "air bag" distributed on planes when one feels he is about to vomit.

Sanctimonious, holier than thou drivel, swelled from the lips of those present who clearly reveled in uttering their ugly words of vilification against Israel.

That Mr. Neuer can summon up the strength to sit among such cowardly and morally bankrupt human beings, is a testament to his stamina in defending Israel wherever her honor, and indeed the truth, is questioned.

Mr. Neuer was well aware that his words, at least in that room, fell on deaf ears but he is equally and acutely aware that someone must go on the record as having recorded the well known level of anti-semitism that rages always and everywhere within the walls of the so-called "United Nations".

Indeed most of the member States are very much "united"- at least in one area and on one topic- that being their shared dislike and disdain for the Jewish people.

So what else is new ?

One must try not to wince when Mr Neuer repeats several times the words "History will record..." referencing the UN's hypocritical focus on Israel while turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to the fate of the thousands of innocent victims of demonic levels of political and military repression taking place on a daily basis, in the nations surrounding tiny Israel.

In fact, history has already been recording and documenting in great detail all the injustices and sufferings to which the Jewish people have been relentlessly subjected for more than two thousand years.

As many others have observed before, Israel's endless attempts to show restraint when threatened and relentlessly goaded to react and respond, has always had a very sad and unfortunate downside.

Bullies, just as confirmed bigots, (which are often the same thing), generally only respect a show of strength coming from their intended victims. The only logic they are capable of understanding is the logic of force in the face of- and in response to force.

In a strange paradoxical way, perhaps Israel's enemies in the Middle East never felt the type of respect they surely must have felt (much to their never ending discomfort) at the end of the Six Day War- a war they were convinced would solve the "Jewish question" once and for all.

How totally in shock the Arab States must have been at how quickly their despised, hated enemy turned the tables on them. This was one of the supreme military encounters in the history or warfare where the two sides had such a disproportionate array of military forces at their disposal.

The upcoming "Flotilla challenge" to Israel is hardly something to be compared to the Six Day War. Nevertheless, this is a Golden opportunity for Israel to make a statement to the whole world that Israel will protect its honor and sovereignty whenever and wherever challenged.

I will not suggest here what that response should be for fear of aiding the "enemy" but an overly careful and tepid response will be a major error on the part of Israel in my humble opinion.

The response by Israel's navy and air forces, vis a vis the Flotilla, when it arrives, I believe should be of such a startling and creative tactical nature that it will make headlines around the world. And this is not intended to suggest there be massive casualties.

Headlines are clearly what the organizers of the Flotilla are hoping for. But as in the case of the Six Day War and like the memorable Rescue at Entebbe, (during which PM Netanyahu's Brother died), Israel has the chance in the very near future to take some very bitter lemons and proceed to make lemonade.

Israel certainly never asked for this hypocritical Flotilla nonsense to be pushed in its face and ramed down its throat.

But since it is here and will happen, Israel should use every ounce of its well known creativity and savvy to exploit the well known bigotry and yes-stupidity- of the Flotilla organizers, since a bigot is "ipso facto' most stupid, and make a statement that will be heard and taken notice of, around the world.

At a time when Israel is being challenged and goaded at every turn by its adversaries, perhaps this is a good time for Israel to shock its enemies into some rare semblance of reality.

    It is time.

  3. David, a big "Thank You" on the extended comment. A number of good points, and one can only hope that the Flotilla will meet the response you suggest. Much more economical to bring it to it's end , once and for all.
