Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA: Once again, Palestinian officials condemn the murder of Israeli on practical grounds: it doesn't serve Palestinian interests.

Do they say it is immoral to murder civilians? No. Only that it doesn't serve the national interests.

Is the "renunciation of violence in all its forms" a blanket renunciation? Again, it is presented not as a matter of principle but as a matter of tactics.

The flip side?

Should the day come that PM Fayyad believes that murdering Israeli civilians serves Palestinian interests then - let the blood bath begin.

  1. The most moderate Palestinian Arabs do not see the murder of Jews as wrong per se.

They object to it because it does not make them look good in the eyes of the world.

But if they thought murdering Jews would get them what they wanted, they would do it.

Let's remember exactly who the amoral Arabs are and quit being surprised by their thirst for the blood of Jews when the opportunity to quench it presents itself for them.
