Siamak Morsadegh was there, and one can't help feeling sorry for him. As the Jewish community's sole representative in the Iranian parliament, this regime shill perpetuates the lie, faithfully reported by the propaganda mouthpiece, Press TV, that Jews were never ill-treated in Iran, unlike in Christian Europe (never forced to convert to Islam, never forced to live in ghettos, never treated as 'najas' - ritually unclean).

An Iranian lawmaker representing the country's Jewish minority says Iran has never harmed its Jewish community, condemning Western propaganda against Iran.

"Jews have been in Iran for the past 3,000 years, they consider themselves Iranian and they were martyred during the war" the Iranian lawmaker said, pointing to the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.

He also condemned Western propaganda against Iran calling it "baseless", IRNA reported.

  1. Its a sad sight when you see Jews coerced to denounce Israel and their own people. I won't go into the history of persecution of Jews in Iran but to say it never happened denies credulity.

  2. Iran really knows how to provide good incentives and hence, to put on a good show. When the question of dual-loyalty is raised in America, how many communal leaders would need to be told what is expected of them. However, for the less informed, J Street was created, and will be happy to assist.
