Late Night Take-Out

Love of the Land
18 July '11

In any given day their are a number of interesting links that will not get posted here, yet are certainly worth taking a look at. Here are 4 that I thought you might enjoy.

1) Elder of Ziyon A buyer's guide to products of Judea and Samaria. From Meretz.

Israel's tiny far-left party Meretz has published a list of products they would like to boycott because they are produced by Jewish-owned companies on what they consider the wrong side of a mythical line that existed for 19 years out of the past 3000.

So it is only fair that I reproduce their list of these politically incorrect Israeli companies that sell their products in the US. I'm sure Meretz would approve.

2) Yisrael Medad How Israel Should Deal with Raad Salah

As Britain does:

...he must adhere to strict conditions and his appeal to remain in the U.K. remains in question...Judge Nicholas Stadlen said that Salah would be granted bail on condition that he wear an electronic tag, observe a night-time curfew, report daily to immigration officials and stay at the home of a friend in London. The court added that they wanted to verify his London address before releasing him. The judge also banned Salah from "public speaking."

That, though, was not enough and was desribed so:

3) Israel Matzav Goodbye hatred and anti-Semitism

Upon concluding his four-year tour of duty, Israel's ambassador to Spain, Rapahel Shutz, posted a rant on his website bidding goodbye to hatred and anti-Semitism. Shutz posted on his website a message stating, “The fact of having personally experienced the hate and the anti-Semitism that exists in Spanish society is something that I take away with me."

4) This Ongoing War Plain talk on why we are in an ongoing war

The Palestinian Arab analyst Khaled Abu Toameh writes some of the most incisive, courageous and well-informed journalism around. On the Hudson Institute website, he has a new article called "Palestinians Cannot Accept Less than 100%". He reminds us that the Palestinian Arabs are divided into two camps today: the more radical and the less radical. The differences between them? Not so great.
