Dore Gold: Correcting Common Jerusalem Myths

Israel must clearly state its redlines and national priorities given the move by the Palestinian Authority towards unilateralism and possible US bridging proposals, according to former Israeli UN ambassador Dore Gold. In this video Gold debunks common myths about Jerusalem: East Jerusalem mixes hundreds of thousands of Jew and Arabs living in very close proximity and the city is not easily dividable; the Palestinian Arab claim is to the Temple Mount and the Old City not some outlying villages of Jerusalem; demographic shifts in Jerusalem are caused primarily by lack of affordable housing and jobs for all residents, not the higher Arab birth rate.
