UNIFIL disintegrating? France, Italy and Spain to pull troops?

Those of you who have lives may have missed the stories I ran over the weekend about UNIFIL stopping patrols in Lebanon, and about Hezbullah supporters attacking UNIFIL troops. At the end of that second post, I wrote:

The thing that is most likely to force the withdrawal of international 'peacekeepers' is being attacked by one side or the other. Most countries are unwilling to have their troops die to keep the peace between two other countries. How long do you think France will be willing to have its troops risk their lives to protect Israel? I doubt it would be willing to do so for a week.

That prediction seems to be pretty much on target.
